What do you wish to receive, Curse or blessing

            Dear brothers and sisters we wish you all in the name of our lord Jesus Christ. He went in and stood before his master and Elisha said to him “where have you been Gehazi” He answered your servant has not gone any where at all”. But he said to him “did I not go with you in spirit when someone left his chariot to meet you? Is this a time to accept money and to accept clothing, olive orchards, and vineyards. Sheep and oxen and male and female slaves? Therefore the Leprosy of Naaman shall cling to you and to your descendants for ever”. So he left his presence leprous as white as snow.
            Dear friends look at an instance in the life time of Elisha the prophet Elisha had a servant by name Gehazi. Why did he became a leprous man. He could have become a prophet like his master. Why did he get this penalty. Shall a master curse his servant like this. we may ask like this in our hearts. Gehazi did not have good characters like his master. He had a great eager for money. He became a thief and said a lie to his master. Hence he was cursed. by his master: Naaman was the commander of the Syrian kings army and was a leprosy patient. His servant maid was a captive from the house of Israel. She said “My lord, there is a prophet in samaria. If you go to him he will heal you”. So Naaman came to Elisha, who said to him go and take bath in the river of Jordan seven times. He did so and was cured. Then Naaman brought offerings to Elisha. But Elisha did not accept it he said I am speaking only by the spirit of god and returned the gifts to him: Gehazi was looking at all these, and said to himself my master does not know how to earn money. He ran behind the chariot of Naaman and said two sons of the prophet came just now from the hill country of Ephrahim to me. Give them one talant of silver and two dresses. Naaman gave what he asked. Gehazi hid them in his house and came to see Elizha as if nothing has a happened. But Elizha knew all his mischiefs and cursed him saying you and your descendants will receive the leprosy of Naaman. He returned home as a leprosy patient.
            Dear friends, A man was begging in a town. While begging he said I am begging because of the sins of Adam and went from street to street. In a particular street an old man called him and said you need not beg anymore. You may stay in my house for there is none.
            I am going to a far away country, you stay in my house until I come. He removed his begging pan, and dirty dresses and gave him new dresses and 5 different keys of his ward robes. The first wardrobe had gold ornaments the second had silver vessels, the third had cash, the fourth had brass vessels. You may open all these and take them if you want. But he ordered and said you must not open the fifth one. This beggar daily came to the room opened and saw the goods in all the four wardrobes and was very glad. Then he will come to the fifth one and say why did he say do not open this. Shall I open this and see what is inside, when he is not here anymore.
            One week passed by and he couldnot wait anymore. So he said I must open it today and closed   all the doors. Put the key in and opened the fifth one slowly. He was astonished and was looking at it for there was nothing in it. It was empty. He turned back and saw the owner standing behind him. He dragged him out of the house removed his dresses and gave him his old dress and begging pan and said to him here after when you beg you say I am begging because of my sins.
            Dear friends some will say I did no fault why then so much suffering for me. Some will not listen to the advice of the elders instead they will do what is exactly opposite of the advice. They will realize the result of their actions only when they receive the punishment.
            Gehazi the servant of Elisha accepted the gifts from Naaman which Elisha refused. He said a lie to Elisha as if he did nothing. Hence he became the cause of leprosy to him and his descendants. Further he was driven out of the house of Elisha.
            Dear friends, your sins may have brought curse and punishment to the members of your family. If you have done any thing wrong against your church or family then go immediately to your house and close the doors cry; and say Lord forgive me when Jesus was in this world, he pardoned even the theif hanging on the cross and said you will be with me today.
            Dear youngsters, This world may not pardon you, your friends and relatives, may not pardon you. But Jesus however a trait you may be or a prostitute or a whitch craft he will pardon and redeem you. He will make the world which despises you to honour you.
            You must give way to Jesus to come to you (Rev 3:20) Listen I am standing at the door. Knocking if you hear my voice and open the door I will come into you and  eat with you and you with me. If you give room he will come inside or he will continue to be knocking at the door.
            A man went to a shop to buy a thermos flask. The shop heeper said “if you keep some thing cool inside it will be cool and any thing hot it will be hot”, He said okey and went with the flask. His friend asked him what is in your hands, He said” this is a flask and this will keep cool things cool and hot things hot”. His friend asked “what do you have in it today?
He said “I have poured two glasses of hot coffee and one glass of cold cococola,” He did not know that both cold and hot substances cannot be stored at the same time, Hence it was useless (Rev. 3:15,16) I know you works you are neither cold nor hot I wish that you were either cold or hot. So because you are luke warm and neither cold nor hot I am about to spit you out of my mouth. Hence if you are cold be cold or if you are hot be hot if you are cold and hot at the same time then you will be useless like the coffee and cococola in the flask and your life will also be spoiled. good and bad cannot mix together. Hence if you want to be hot then you must believe the glory of Christ gods throne must be within you. A train needs green signal to move red signal will stop it. Similarly you must show green signal for the throne of god. That is your heart turned red by your sins must be washed by the holy blood of Jesus and turned as white as snow. Then gods’s throne will be within you.
The duties of missionaries
Every missionary must understand the anointment be has received. Bible says (1 corin 12:11) all these are activated by one and the same spirit who allots to each one individually just as the spirit chooses (1 corin 12:5) says there are varieties of services. Once Aaron and Miriam spoke against moses. We can read this in Number 21 St chapter. They said did god speak only through moses but he spoke through us also. God heard this god came on the pillar of cloud and called Aaron and Meriam. If one of you is a prophet then I will show myself to him and speak to him in his dream. But moses is not like that he is a man of truth in my house. He sees my image. How dare you speak against him with out fear. God said. This shows that each one has a status. Moses Aaron and Miriam are all missionaries. Hence you must not give up your mission your status is for you. Every one who attracts people by his love and the gifts of the spirit is a missionary. You must do it correctly people must come running after missionaries. They must be eager to participate in his meetings. That is mission. When Jesus was in this world people from all directions came to him in great numbers.
Every missionary under goes, a test of fire. (1 corin 3:11-15) read and see. His status will be revealed by the test fire it will determine the status of his work. That means when the mission grows and when you build a palace on its foundation you will be tested by fire. One who successfully faces it will receive his reward. Test of fire means trouble within ones family betraying of the trusted ones betraying ones own body and world pleasures of prostitution. These things will surely attack a missionary one who endures all these and protects himself from falling into a victim will receive his reward.
Then he becomes an experienced missionary and his mission will flourish. As he grows older and older the grace of speech will also increase. Hence fear the lord until your last breath, Be useful to him. And live a meaningful Christian life.
